jwo483 - That picture says it all, thanks!

If you've shot it in competition, what's your assessment of the P-09 as an IDPA pistol? If not, am interested in your reaction once you do.

Accuracy, n. A certain uninteresting quality carefully excluded from human statements.

Telling you right now.  Just shoot it.  Out of the box having never shot it once it was the most accurate gun I have shot in 5 years and 2-5 matches a week on average of IDPA shootin

I have every bit as much confidence in the P-09 as in my CZC Shadow. Hopefully the weather will let us get a match in Sat.

And for the record I am 3 weeks in using this gun 2-3 matches a week for IDPA.  I am coming from a PPQ, which i still absolutely adore.  I am not nearly as fast, and even after i get all CGW parts in there i doubt i will ever be given the trigger on the PPQ.  but what i am is amazingly more accurate.  the very first time i shot the gun was a few hours later that night at a match after i got it.  that was officially the cleanest match, 2 down, i have shot in the 5 or so years i have been shooting IDPA.  last night at the match 3 different times i took extra shots on target because i thought i had missed.  going up to score i saw that i same holed it so tight it looked like 1 hole at a distance.  i am a network engineer by trade and a techie at heart.  so everything for me is about NEW technology.  i literally had 0 interest in hammer fired guns.  soon i will be getting a tan p09 with threaded barrel and a p01

That is great to hear but not surprising to me. My CZ pistols are easily the most accurate pistols I own.

Tonight I put the Dawson fiber on from CGW.  At 15 feet I literally put 3 in the same hole.  Not clover leaf.  I am talking same hole

And I am still running stock trigger.  I NEED them to get that spring kit back in stock.  A friend got his installed on Saturday and I got to play with it.  And that hammer kit, pronto

First trip to the range with my new P-01.

7yds, 5 rounds, off hand.

Rear sight is slightly off, it is visibly pushed too far right (not centered).

This was my first CZ. Up to 3 now. (P-01, SP-01 Tactical, P-07)

Can't wait to put in the CGW spring/firing pin kit in my P-07.

Planning on a 75B SA or P-09 next.

No doubt CZ pistols are more accurate than most service pistols.
