I purchased the safety last month with a Czech special forces muzzle brake (currently sold out).

Oh, and US folks -- use a Capital One or other no foreign transaction fee card to save yourself the bank currency conversion penalties. 

On the safety, it appears to fit the vz 2008, but there's a metal lip on lower left hand side of safety pin that will need to be dremeled/cut/gunsmithed away (~1/16 to ~1/8 of an inch) to allow for the two pieces to fully mate and the hex screw to be screwed in and so that the safety is properly secured and works.  Haven't figured out how I'm doing it yet, but it's probably just considered minor milling, not a major cutting all the way through your receiver thing.

I wish I could remember why the ambi safeties won't fit the CSA/D-Technik/Czechpoint rifles.

still, a steal of a deal compared to just what my NEA ambi- mag release and Tactical Bolt Release(this type of mod is worth its weight in gold, BUY ONE) cost me.

Not sure of difference, but the CSA receivers imported into the US are the single stack versions of the receiver.   Corwin, when selling this safety selector, said it only works the CZ858 (b/c built on full auto receiver at the CZ factory) or US receivers only w/ full auto specs...

Looking at pictures, the NEA safety has a narrow slot to the left that the the Corwin's selector doesn't.  Maybe the receiver differences result in a different trigger pack setup/alignment? 
EDIT: Corwin does have that narrow left slot, but at top only.  Pictured is bottom view.  Looks like the difference is that wide middle on the NEA that I verified the Corwin doesn't have.

Does anyone have a source of the side rail made for the 58? Czechpoint is out as is everyone else EXCEPT some place called wolverine supply. They have them but when I called they said they don't ship to the US. WTF??!! Referenced some state dept. import regs. but I can reference several Canadian vendors that ship all the same stuff without a problem and its a 3 inch piece of steel. Come on! Just this week I received a lot of items from Corwin-Arms, a good place BTW.
I really don't care the reason but does anyone else have one they might sell know of another source?

Actually, polymer handguards are available from Czech and Canadian suppliers. (I assume the Canadian companies are selling Canadian made versions, but one of the websites makes it sound like their product is from the Slovak Republic.)

These firms sell polymer furniture in Canada. Wolverine Supplies wrote me back with a list of everything they can ship to the U.S., but I accidentally deleted it. Basically, stocks are O.K., magazines and actual gun parts, not so much. Some of the handguards sold in Canada include picatinny rails.

Not the best picture, but that little bit of material needs removed to allow for the lip in top right of Corwin selector above picture (left side of receiver selector switch lip/engagement to frame) to be fully seated on my vz58.  You can't drill out the allen key screw hole as the selector wouldn't line up properly/cause friction on/with the disconnector.

Cool beans!  Maybe it's a change w/ the changing Canadian gun laws?  Now that restrictions are loosening?  (Sorry, really not following the registering, then no longer having to, etc, stuff going on up there...)

That's good because they would not even respond to several emails, so I called and got told sorry your SOL. I was able to get my parts from Zahal and they and Corwin is where I spend my $$$.
