ordering some pins have a question
« on: April 10, 2014, 08:39:40 AM »
wanted to order a new pin for the extractor and a new pin for the auto safety and ejector. the diagram at http://stevespages.com/pdf/cz83.pdf shows those are the same pin. http://shop.cz-usa.com/SearchByKeyword?word=cz+83. also they have a cz 83 front sight for 5 dollars but I see no hole for the front sight pin to go through. wanted to know if theses parts were right before I order.

Can't swear on the pins although I know some are the same size. The sight does not have a hole. It has a groove the cross pin fits. You may have to file it to fit. Install sight, mark sides with a drill bit, etc. through the pin holes, and file as needed. I would recommend ordering a sight pin as well.

I was thinking about installing the new one with some adhesive like locktite instead of using the cross pin. I wonder if that would work.

Only until it falls off or you want to take it off.
