Polish P83

Does anybody know, from experience, how the Polish P83 compares with the CZ82?  They appear similar but I want to know about accuracy and trigger weight.

I had a P83 but sold it about a year  ago.
It's a OK gun.  When I got mine, it was packed with grease.  Cleaned it up, I do believe the gun had never been fired. I had some failures to chamber rounds and some FTe's, but like I said, a new gun, it got better the more I shot it.

Trigger was OK, but nothing special, CZ's are better. 
On the plus side, very accurate, low recoil and comfortable to carry.

Mine was about new as well. I'm carrying it currently actually. It is very accurate, double action is kinda stiff, but single action is not bad. It only likes ball.

I had one for a while.  It was accurate.  I would say the perceived recoil was more than an 82 but less than a P64.  Mine fed Silver Bear JHP just fine.  For a low cost stash gun I think they are great.  I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.  Magazines can be hard to find.  Had to get my extras from Poland.  Was kinda pricey.  I would get an 82 if I could find one at a decent price.  If not, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one of these.

I doubt that you'll find another 9x18 which is the equal of the vz.82. ?esk? Zbrojovkas are hard to beat.

You know, I would just love to have a ZVI Kevin 9x18 (chambered it in 9x18 in 2007), but cannot be imported into the US because of it's size.
But it is a 6 round 9x18, real pocket pistol. They gave the rights to AMT stateside. But they only make it in 380.
Just to have that extra firepower and extra diameter in a very small pocket pistol....

Thanks for the replies.  I have two (2) CZ 82s.  One currently has a magazine issue (mag releases when fired) but I have the parts to fix it - just have not done it and was wondering about the P83s as several have come on the market recently.

I have not seen CZ 82s being offered but suspect Gunbroker might have some.  My wife really likes the CZ better than any other gun so I was seeking something like it but with a good trigger (my CZs have 4.5 pound SA).
