Man those Stingray-C shots are flipping amazing. I love my stingray and wish I could take photos of my gun like that. I'm digging the chrome slide, black frame, and wood grips. Attractive combo.

Thanks!  It's actually all grey/silver now, with black controls again and those wood grips.  The black started to chip already, I think I didn't do a good enough job at surface prep.  Lesson learned!

Great photography, shooting, AND guns!

Thanks! :)

I have a T-120 and love it and really tempted by the Stingray C and The P-120
I almost bought the T-120 many times but ended up holding out for the P-120 because of my love for the SP-01 - I'm glad I did!

Awesome photos!
I am also digging P-120 as my next purchase.

Thanks!  I think you'll like the P-120 a lot.

I was supposed to ask you between the T-120 or P-120... But, I got it. :)

Can you compare the weight of the stingray-C and the P-120?

I just ordered a cheap food scale from Amazon, it should be here Friday.  I can let you know then? :)

Subjectively, though, the Stingray-C is already a decently heavy gun, so it's an incremental increase up to the P-120, rather than a huge change.  The distribution of weight feels a bit different, though, with the Stingray feeling very balanced and centered in your hands, where the P-120 feels a touch front-heavy.  I haven't had my hands on the T-120 back-to-back with either of those, though so I can't give you a great comparison to what you have now.

Thanks, jwc007!  :D

Forgot to mention, the engine enamel on the frame of the Stingray-C started to chip almost immediately, if you just looked at it wrong, so that pistol is now fully alumahyde'd in s/s gray.  It's already worn through in a few spots (especially where I grasp to rack the slide)...  :-[  It's much more resilient than engine enamel, but it's no match for the factory Cerakote, which has survived every chemical that I've thrown at this thing to help strip paint and alumahyde about 4 or 5 times to completely refinish the gun.  ;D  I wish mine had come with no blemishes!  Some day I'll end up getting it professionally redone I think.

;D Thanks, wdbutcher!  If they want to send me some guns to shoot (with bullets or a camera, both are fine with me  :P) or a check, then I'm game! Know who I'd need to talk to? Haha.

These weren't my favorite but I forgot to post them before:

Show off.
You're pics will help their company sell more units.

OK.  Where did the wood grips with the checkering pattern that mimics the grip tape sections on the AL grips?
Does the other side have the opposite pattern like the AL too?

I want some lol.

If they do, hopefully someone notices, hah.  ;)

Unfortunately, they're mirrored, unlike the AL grips, but they're cheap and they feel and look nice.  I got them from this seller:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-ROSEWOOD-CHECKERED-GUN-GRIPS-FOR-CZ-75-85-COMPACT-ALUMINIUM-GRIPS-DESIGN-M12-/261489192510?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3ce1f86e3e

The pictures are the actual grips you get so look around if you don't like the grain on those.

I've sent you a PM with Tristar information that may help you on your claim to fame. Good Luck!

This gun (P-120) is sadly now sold.  :(  I will miss it, but I had too much money tied up into it with bills to pay.  As soon as I finish my thesis and get my employment situation figured out, I'll surely get back into one. (or two.)  I hope the new owner enjoys it as much as I did for the short time it was mine!

I just saw that, answering you now!  Sorry for the huge delay, I'm hammered with work trying to finish up my degree by the end of July.  Not sure if anything will come of it now that I don't actually own a TriStar :-\ but it can't hurt to try, right?  :)

Did not know that you needed to sell it.  My condolences for your loss!  :'(
