How common is two-tone compact?
« on: August 24, 2002, 11:50:06 PM »
Just wondering how common the two-tone 75B Compact is.  Saw a brand new one recently for $400, with an exceptionally good trigger.  It's the only two-tone compact I've ever seen in person.  Thought it would look great with a set of Hakan grips.

Take care.  Marko

I would have to say..not that common IMO.  In the 5 state area that I frequent for my job..sales.  I also happen on gun stores of all kinds shapes and sizes.  CZ's are gaining in popularity but 2 tones are still the least common Ive seen..especially in a Compact.  Ive yet to see one in person.
Shoot well

I bought a slightly used,CZ-75B Compact in two-tone in May of this year.  It is a beautiful gun and quite a shooter.  I do find that I prefer the sightline and longer grip on the CZ-75 full size, but I still love my compact.  The Satin nickle frame just wipes clean.  And the poly coat slide adds a really nice contrast to the gun.  I find that on my compact, the satin nickle has a bit of a goldish color to it.  I agree that a nice set of Haken's would complete the picture.
