My CZ 75 D Compact (aka P-01)

Got to the range to put the new grips through the test. They held tight and felt great, even when firing some defensive rounds. I'm digging it!

Here's a shot of my P-01 post range clean up and ready for action:

Cannot wait to get home in a couple weeks and get mine! I already have an extra thousand rounds about to be delivered also, but I cannot guarantee it will be equally split between the new P-01 and P-07. Especially not if I get my Grand Power back from the babysitter lol.

Well variety is the spice of life. Spread the wealth between all three of your new pistols! Seems like you have a nice stable of pistols coming together.

 I got  my P-01 several weeks ago & just had a chance to shoot it 3 days ago.  It was very accurate for me as I am 83 & shoot at 25' mostly. I did shoot a few at 75' and they were at least on the target. I also got a new High Noon Bare Skin holster & tried it & I think the gun will be too big for me to carry. I got it new from a gun shop for $30 so I am not hurt on it. I will let my dealer sell it.

   I will try again to post some pictures, but I had trouble doing  before. I have no trouble on other sites, but haven't mastered it here yet. Sorry I can't get it done.

Your pic above looks fine.

On Picassa,  bring up the pic and right click it and select 'properties'.  Highlight and copy the link.  Where you want the pic,  click on the little 'Mona Lisa' icon just above the smiley face ,  at the top left above.  Post the link in between the two symbols that appear.  "POST".

Glad you are liking your new P-01. Follow 1SOW's advice and post up some shots!


Side note, I've been busy doing some action work to my P-01 and also switching the mag release. I'm waiting for some parts in the mail (CGW reduced power trigger return spring, 15lb main spring, floating trigger pin, and a new firing pin lifter spring). I should be all done by Tuesday!

1SOW, I have tried everything, except I don't have "properties" on my Picasa web albums. I post on Walther Forums all the time & I right click on my picture & left click on "copy image locations". Then I put it on my post similar to the Mona Lisa.  ??

Well finally, it is done the same way I do it everywhere else posting pictures. As I said I am old, but I still enjoy shooting & this is a great gun & I know I will shoot better in future shoots.

 It does seem to have a little more recoil than my XDs 9, but I did want to try this gun after shooting my friends P09. It was super easy & very accurate. He did rework the trigger. I did like it better than his Nighthawk 9.

I thought maybe I was remembering incorrectly and checked on my Picassa albums.
I click on the individual picture to 'bring it up to full size',  then right click on the pic and click "properties" and the link comes up.
I copy the link and post it in the Mona Lisa.
I'm glad you got it figured out.  If mine changes, I may have to ask you how to do it.

  1SOW, I just tried it again & no "properties" came up, just a box with a lot of image choices. Image, copy image, & copy image location that I used. I did it again to also show you that the NSN numbers are back on the newer guns. Or is that news?

   Also there is a blue box below Mona & I hit that first & then Mona. Here it is.
