Weight Difference?
« on: August 30, 2014, 08:31:56 AM »
Anyone know the weight difference between a PCR or P-01 and a 75 BD?  Or have a comparison of the two, if you happen to have a BD and one of the others?

CZ BD Police
No Mag: 33.2 oz
With Empty Mag:  36.5 oz
With 16+1 (124 gr):  44.0 oz

P-01
No Mag: 23.9 oz
With Empty Mag: 26.9 oz
With 15+1 (124 gr): 33.7 oz

Don't know the difference it makes, but.................
The BD has frag grips, EZ/D sights
The P-01 has Coco Bolo grips and XS sights

EDIT:  Using a postal scale, which has been shown to be accurate when weighing 100 bullets.

The catalog lists the (presumably empty) weight of the BD as 2.20 lb (35.2 oz), that of the P-01 as 1.75 lb (28.0 oz), and that of the PCR as 1.71 lb (27.4 oz).
