Anyone heard from Bonesteel? I'm still waiting.....
« on: October 04, 2014, 04:09:35 PM »
I placed an order in mid Feb for front handguard rail.  Sent another inquiry last week.....Crickets!

Anyone gotten their product recently, or is this a lost cause?

He is usually not a communicator.  He runs handguards in batches, so maybe he doesn't have any yet?

On the website it says the handguards are expected in September.  I have one on order too, hopefully sometime this month!

This has been covered several times, once every two weeks this past year...

CNC Warrior makes the Bonesteel accessories, he designs.  CNC Warrior has been one month behind on all production this year and getting increasingly behind about an add'l week each month.   They are a small company, have a full production schedule and schedule production out about a year or two in advance.  So there's not a lot of room for error when it comes to production delays -- and with the rush over the past year, there was no way any company could keep up with demand...  (I suppose they could buy new machines, shut down for a month to train new staff, and then get going again and hope new staff doesn't brake stuff and force them redo [a questionable business decision knowing that demand panic buying won't last] or they could ride the wave as best they could while hoping their customers understand that sometimes quality requires a wait.)  And I do think CNC Warrior is quality and worth the wait...

Unfortunately, it is what it is.  Your options are to pay more for similar items elsewhere, settle for lower quality at the same price point, or wait.
