Pre B
« on: October 14, 2014, 08:28:42 PM »
Took her out today. I really like the way this thing shoots but has its problems for me. The reach for the trigger is a bit long even carrying on safety notch. I can't work the safety without moving my grip, same for the magazine release. It does carry well though in a belt slide & shoots lights out.

Carry mode

Fired about 90 rounds today mostly from the holster doing first shot DA, second shot SA, learning to make the transition

Did the drill at 20 yards. No problem hitting with the DA first shot but I'm still not dead on with the second shot, usually a few inches low. Please don't think I can do this on a regular bases but did manage two dead center DA hits.

Very nice. Pre B in the field. Thank you for the coverage and the pictures.

CGW has a reach reduction kit, i am not sure how it applys to the Pre B's but it may be worth a look.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

I had a light hammer spring in mine and it really made the single action super light. It really felt great I thought this is going to make this baby shoot. But I still couldn't get good groups. I put back the  original spring and my groups really tightened up. It didn't seem like that would work out that way. But I'm glad I tried it.

I purchased the CZ to learn the semi-auto game. Always been a sixgun shooter & decided this platform would be the one to learn with. You have DA, SA, cocked & locked all in one handgun. Not quite 900 rounds through it but it's teaching me a few things.

My LLC called me and said he received a Pre B in the box. I  just purchased the pistol, she is very clean and if fired, not very much. I have a had a PO-1 for a number of years that I use with a Kadet. I look forward to some range time with the 75.
I will need a holster for the 75, what is the manu of the one you are using?

Creeker, I've had similar hand fit issues and they can be relatively easy to fix.

The factory grips are quite thick.  Thinner grips from VZ or CZ Custom or Double Alpha Academy will help a LOT.  Let me know if you need help locating any of them.
