Is it Possible to Convert a PCR 10rnd Mag to 14rnds?
« on: November 30, 2014, 03:17:59 PM »
I bought my CZ 75D Compact PCR back when there was a ten round capacity limit on magazines.  Is it possible to convert them to higher capacity?  They have numbers stamped on the side including the number fourteen.  The only things that looks different when compared to a Hi-Cap magazine is the follower and length of the spring.

I haven't seen the 10 round ones for the PCR, but probably not. I know the 10 round mags for Beretta have an indentation in the mags so you can't add more than 10.

As a general rule a factory supplied 10 round mag, made that way to conform with state law, cannot be converted to higher capacity. The current 14 round magazines fit the PCR and can be had at a very reasonable price. Here is an example.

I assume that you are legally allowed higher capacity mags.

Thank you for the information and source for inexpensive magazines.  Here in Colorado the latest liberal assault on firearms has limited magazine capacity to fifteen rounds.
