Cajun Works RRK on a P-01 Installation
« on: December 12, 2014, 12:37:27 AM »
Hi there. I am very interested in purchasing the RRK from Cajun Works to install on my P-01. I've been scouring the internet looking for a DIY on it, but I can't seem to find anything solid. I'm trying to find out if the kit is as simple as punching the trigger out and replacing the parts from the kit... or does it require any fitting, etc.? If I purchase the $88 kit, is that all the parts I would need for the installation as long as I have the required tools?

I also spoke to David, and I believe he mentioned something about the lifter spring.. but I couldn't really understand and maybe I need more explanation. If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Look at other vids on complete teardown because that is what it takes! Not for the average punter! Are your fingers really that short? This is a DA mod really, how often do you require a shorter DA pull?

My fingers aren't short, but I'm looking to improve the ergos of the DA for self defense and also range. I am thinking of practicing shooting DA for every mag reload at the range. I'm hoping it would improve accuracy.

You would change the lifter spring if you change to the extended firing pin and FP spring. If you change those out, you would put In a lighter hammer spring and you would have a better shooting pistol. The DA & SA would be lighter and smoother.
Now if you want a shorter reset you can put in David's lifter arm.

Did you mean the FPB spring? I have not seen any differences in lifter springs required for these mods.
