First vz 2008 outing
« on: December 28, 2014, 10:42:44 PM »
So I took my vz 2008 for its first outing and it performed very well.  In fact, this was my first outing with any rifle other than a .22lr and it was more fun than i thought it would be.  i had zero failures with the function of the rifle.  The recoil of 7.62 was really not bad at all and i shot 5 full magazine worth.

My main question is how to adjust the sight on my vz.2008.  i found on both 25yd and 50yd targets that the shots were going left.  the grouping were fine but definitely left of center.

any help is appreciated!

Hopefully you have a friend with an AK that you could borrow an AK sight tool from. If not, they are cheap. your going to push the front sight to the left till you get her on the money. Congrats on moving up to center fire.

I just got my Tapco sight tool in the mail today so I was looking in the manual for this:

"Changing of the height of the front sight pin by 1 turn (0.5 mm) or displacement of the front sight pin to the side by 0.5 mm changes the position of the mean point of impact by 14 cm when firing at 100 meters."

Zeroing in the rifle starts on page 38.
