Right now at J&G's the Grand power K100 is $299.00 and the compact is $329.00 they have out standing triggers, The sar K2 is about $400 at Buds another fun pistol ,its a toss up.

Ya I'm thinking about the full size k100 as a range toy.  I heard the mk12 is out. Haven't seen any for sale.  K2 has been on my short list for a while. I have a 97 from cgw already.

Is a grand power trigger really better than a factory shadow ?

It is one of the shortest factory resets out their, it needs no improvement in my opinion,  very soft shooting pistol as well.

I've never messed with the Shadow but, the Grand Power I have resets just a hair sooner than my old PPQ and P99 AS triggers. Very short, very positive.

Ya in went ahead and jumped on a mk7 from jg sales for 299. Small enough cost my wife couldn't site it as irreconcilable  differences ... this trigger sounds great.

I think you made the right choice. I read great things about both, but I would have definitely went with the Grand Power.

I have been very impulsive lately.  I bought the grand power, love it.  trigger is awesome.   its like my colt or dan wesson in sa mode.   i also impulsively bought the canik tp9sa, and all i have to say is wow.  that thing is amazing.   its got a better trigger than an xdm by a long shot,  I like it better than my ghost trigger bar glock. what a sweet gun.

two very good pistols for $330 each....

now to get that k2 when it goes on sale....
