« on: March 03, 2015, 09:15:18 PM »
How does the trigger bar connect to the trigger bar spring?  Mine is lose and the spring swings out, trigger won't engage....hmmm

Simply swing it back so it's touching the trigger bar and then press the spring down and let it catch on the bottom of the trigger bar. The tension of the spring will keep it in place.

There's a groove on the underside of the trigger bar that the spring slides in. It's not attached per se.

The spring should not swing out from the side of the frame if it is engaged in the underside of the trigger bar properly. The bar simply rides on top of the spring and stays in position due to the "upward" tension in the spring.

Thanks for the replies.  Put more tension on the spring and its working again, I appreciate the help.  Joe L, a special thanks to you, your knowledge and videos.  They have helped me numerous times when working on these. Oh, and because of you I only clean mine after a 1000 rounds or so...still to much I know but old habits... It seems your never going to choke that P09 out. Thanks again to all...stay safe..
