What next for my Omega?
« on: March 22, 2015, 08:29:24 PM »
I just finished swapping the firing pin, hammer spring, and recoil spring on my 75 Omega. What else can be done to these? I would like to shorten the reset, but I am confused on which hammer and reset kit will work on the Omega.

Btw....I also have sights and Bronze aluminum grips on the way. Love CZ's!!

Good question.

I know CGW makes a range of parts of the P series CZ's (P-07/P-09) which use an Omega trigger system. I do not know if these parts work in a CZ75 Omega. Maybe another forum member will chime in. You might also call CGW and ask if any of the P series parts will work in your CZ.

David told me late last year that he had nothing for the CZ-75B Omega receiver but the mainspring. Slide is pretty much the same on all so I changed out the springs and ran 1600 rounds through. Now, it is smooth as butter and doesn't need a thing.
