Finally did it!
« on: August 18, 2020, 09:11:12 PM »
I finally felt the need to pull the extractor cage out of my ambi safety stainless 75B.

Not easy as pie but doable and I learned a lot.

Now, I'm thinking about a trigger job and oh boy, couple or 3 hundo for CGW?
Come on! Glock has a fifty cent trigger job.  Takes 15 minuets or so..

Seriously though, where to start with this trigger job?  Any ideas?
What you say, what you know?  BTW, this is also my Kadet hoast.

What part of the trigger Dynamics do you wish to improve? For instance, installing a replacement hammer can reduce or eliminate single action creep. Changing different spring weights can reduce the DA or the SA pull weight.

Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

BTW, this is also my Kadet hoast.

CGW told me that reducing the trigger spring can result in light trigger strikes on the Kadet.  This was several years ago but before you change I suggest you contact CGW or CZC and see what they recommend for trigger spring for use with the Kadet.

For use with the cadet I would limit the changes to hammer, trigger (including floating trigger pin), lighter trigger return spring and POLISH everywhere LOL.

On the 50 cent trigger job a lot of improvement can be had by just polishing.
If I had known how much better being retired is than working I would have done it FIRST.

yes, and thanks to all, I'd like a less creepy SA pull.

As I understand, it'd just be best to buy a CGW trigger  hammer and various spring kit and
just ask which would be most reliable when used as the Kadet host.

Also, polish various contact points as instructed elsewhere.
