Good old Trainer!

Took my old Trainer out to re-sight it at 50 yards after installing new rings and an older Leopold VX-1 3x9. I love this gun! Even with a heavy stock trigger and bulk pack ammo she's a tack driver! Got it sighted in and the put three in the left dots and five in the right.

Would you get one of these for an 8 year old girls first rifle?  I ask because my legs just got a small batch of them in and is touting them as a steal since they are discontinued.

I would get one, but not for an 8 year old.  It is to big.  Get it while you can and it will be there for when they get older.

Get the Scout now and let them grow into the Trainer.

I got a Scout for my 2 girls and it was perfect for them. The 12 yr old loved it the 7 yr old needed to grow in to it. I got the Trainer for ME when I found out how much fun it was.

Since the trainers are discontinued I think I'm gonna buy three of them (1 for me and my two kids) and put the kids in a Scout or aftermarket youth stock.
