Does CZ just sell full side slides? Thinking of getting a semicompact and just wanted to know before I buy it.

Not sure if CZ-USA sells full Uppers or not
But PM Stuart and ask if CZCustom has any available
I love the Semi Compact
IMHO; it is the best of both worlds, so I'd buy the Semi no matter if the Full Upper is available or not

Agree with Den. If you want the semi (they don't show up very often), buy it. Periodically full uppers show up on here. A lot of guys sell the upper to fund other projects. The lowers are kept for dedicated Kadets or they make their own Semi's.

I guess I could make my own semi. I would rather have the semi roll mark, though. @725 for his gun, it might be in my best interest to make my own semi. I want to get a kadet 2, too.

Kinda a side note, but can you stick a shadow upper on a compact lower and make it work? I am sitting here and I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't work.

You would have to remove the Firing Pin Block Lifter from the sear cage/ejector housing (and replace it with either a Pre-B sear, or sear spacer.)

Other than that, it works.
