Anyone having problems with Leupold rings

I was looking at a set of these on Midway but noticed some reveiws where they claimed the rings set off to the side if they were tightened up enough to lock in place. I'm sure there must be some members here with some experience with them. Any problems. I'm wondering if that was the result of them trying to put 11mm rings on one of the rifles with the 3/8 grooves.

I have the Leopold see-thru 3/8" rings on my 455 Training rifle:

It's not as easy to put on, and I noticed that uneven tightening of the screws does skew the scope alignment.  I did this once, but subsequent trial installations were better once I gradually tightened the screws in a criss-cross pattern, making sure the gaps are equal, and checking on scope alignment with the rifle barrel.
