Who has had problems with POLYMER TRIGGER on SA ??
« on: March 28, 2002, 12:15:06 PM »
I've read posts of at least two people having the polymer trigger on their 75B SA's break. Has anyone else had this problem ?? I am somewhat leery of buying a gun (as much as I want one!)that has a known design flaw such as this. Mike @ CZ-USA tells me he has replacements in stock in either steel or alloy but wants me to pay $40 for it. Does this seem right ? Am I overreacting in thinking that CZ-USA should correct this problem before it breaks ??

I really don't want to let an issue like this keep me from buying what everyone seems to agree is a fine pistol BUT it's the principle of it that bothers me more than anything else.

C'mon folks, chime in.

HI, DID YOURS BREAK FROM NORMAL USE. or did you take yours out for some reason?
I was suprised that the guy had his trigger out??? Trying to drill a set screw hole or
messing with the trigger for some reason..i could see that it might break. I'm not
sure how the incidents of breakage happened.

Others that have bought the SA have had no complaints about the gun..The reason that
they now longer feature two screws, is that too many people were tightening the take-up
screw, and not getting full trigger reset. I can see that could very well be a problem.
