Congratulations Steve F!  I have had an SA for a year.  It is the pistol I most enjoy shooting.  I attribute that to its accuracy and ergonomics.  The pistol handles recoil very well permitting faster and more accurate follow up shots.  I use mine in IDPA and IPSC competition.

I'm not sure how many, if any, Champion parts are used in the CZ75BSA.  The Champion has a trigger mechanism that is adjustable for take up and overtravel, while the 75SA trigger is adjustable for only overtravel.  As I understand it the Champion does not have the firing pin safety block as does the 75SA.  Look forward to seeing your range report ... shoot safe, and have fun!

I bought the 75B SA about a month ago and am glad I did. The trigger, which a gun expert friend promised would need some work, is perfect right out of the box. Even my "expert" friend admitted it needed no modification after he fired a clip. He has owned hundreds of guns and it is the first one he said he would not modify.
The accuracy is significantly better than my Glock-17 with a 3.5# trigger. Happy shooting!

Thanks for the response guys.Another question or rumor
I would like to follow up on,at least until I recieve mine,is that the trigger is not made of steel??,maybe a polymer, could this be true? That just doesn't seem proper for a pistol of this type. Thanks again for your input.:)

Steve F, you shouldn't be worried about the trigger. There is absolutely no problem with it. It works beautifully straight out of the box. Some folks, however, felt it requires a couple of hundred rounds before it smooths up. I've shot a couple thousand rounds through my SA and the trigger's been sweet right from day 1.  You're gonna enjoy it.

The 75B SA uses the same grips as the rest of the 75/85 series.  The only differences in the grips among the 75/85 series is that the compact models all take a smaller grip (fortunately, all of the compacts take the same one).

I am absolutely convinced that the best grips for the 75/85 are the replacement rubber grips sold by CZ-USA for $19.00 +S&H.  They cost more than the Hogue mono-grip, but they give me the best handling, grip-index, and comfort.  Superficially, these are identical in appearance to the OEM plastic grips on the commercial guns, even down to the CZ logo.  However, the shape of the rubber grip is subtly different, has a palm swell, and is much more comfortable for it!  I have these grips on my SA and Mil, and they really were an immediate improvement.
