New CZ 75 SA in two days..it arrived, barely!

WEll..

After seeing this gun for the 1st time 2 weeks ago, I couldn't get my mind off it. I lurked on this board for a while and on other boards. I only heard good things about these guns.

I plan on shooting this gun in production classs shoots and IDPA. The gun has fixed sights and i prefer adjustables like bomar.

Questions:

Any Adj. Rear sights out there?
Does the Baretta Klydex holster fit this gun??
Good 9mm loads (factory and reloads)
Breaking -in hints.

Thanks in advance

Hi, Spazz has the Mec-Gar adjustables. Myself, the MMC Nites.

the 92F kydex from Fobus won't accept the full lug of the SA.

Cen-Dex is modifying their 75B holster for the full lug.

the most accurate 9mm load in Handgun's 75SA test was the Silvertip@
0.5 for a best group 25 yards from the bench. Impressive!

a tidy 0.8 with the .40 version.

I wish someone would test the SAs from Ransom Rests..with a wide range of
ammo in both 9mm and .40.

Oddly, i was going to sell my spare set of Handguns year 2001 (12 issues)
but keep my pristine set tucked away and this set i'm costantly using to
get CZ info from.and drooling on the pics..they tested the DAO. 75SA, 40B
and Cz83, ect. Now doubt, it Really became my fave magazine.after that!

They have even published CZF letters:)

I think you'll fall in love w/ your new SA.  Especially when it makes you look like a marksman at the range.  My trigger seems to have improved greatly after 900rds and a week of dry-firing.  I may still send it to CZ-USA for the trigger job.  I just feel that it's my duty to help this young SA realize her full potential.  I know I'm in trouble when I start applying human-like qualities to inanimate objects like this.  Any English majors out there remember what this is called?  Its been awhile.  If my wife hears about this, she won't let me keep SAdie next to the bed anymore.  Now I've lost it.

Can't help you with 9mm ammo since mine is a .40.  The best adj. sights I've seen so far are the MMCs in CZ75ID's pics.  They appear to be more rugged and "snag-free" than conventional target sights if you plan to carry it.

What a gun.

A little drama when I went to pick it up tonight.

The salesperson that I like to deal with was taking the gun back to the office for final check out. I was milling around the showroom when I heard a crash. I had a chill run down my spine because the salesperson that I was dealing with (a great guy!) was handicapped and using walking crutches.

I turned the Isle and there he was lying on the floor. He had fallen when one of his crutches snagged the carpet. I offered to help him up but all he could say was that "he saved the pistol" which I think he did. ..Whew!!

Picked up some ammo and went on my way. I felt bad for my buddy but I didn't want him to feel any pity towards him.

Full range report to follow next week!!

As a disabled person afflicted so i have 'spells' where one minute i am fine, then the next on th
floor, ground, ect. Ii commend you for your tact shown in the situation, and HIS valor in thinking
Customer First!..

Ok, back to your 75SA, and the thought that we are now determining the gender of
our CZs:)
SAdie  LOL!  it works for me.

How about a SAbine,,or SAbrina.

Wonder Witch 1911 or glock shooter your Strange looking flat trigger gun is going to
 convert to CZs:)

I'm thinking the easy trigger SA, would also be a go gun to have Female shooters
use..comfortable grip, match-grade accuaracy and no &%#$% DA pull to hamper
markmans..umm hitting the target.

Remember that as good as the 75SA is. There is room for a .40 caliber SA ONLY
85B or COMBAT (adj) with finish options. (yes, the CZ85SA, or as someone
suggested CZF COMBAT.LoL riight!

More money, but truly ambi, and in major caliber. and in tu-tone or nickel ..
I'm convinced that CZUB is losing Repeat cusomer $$$ due to the fact that some
people demand a .40 cal Ambi gun with Adj sights. The SA parts would just be the
pudding, hey:)

OK, MMCs. they don't cost as anymore than a custom install of adjustables by other
companies that i can see.

However, for 90% of your shooting the Fixed P-T would suffice and cost less.
I wanted the Fixed P-Ts, but also wanted the Ultimate looking SA..with a
unique sight pattern..the

"Daytime Night-Sight" if you will. White-Outline/Bar-Dot configuartion.

Someday that .357 SIG barrel will arrive, i'm not giving up hope, but i think
i told to many people about them and he has to make more now. Oh, well
life goes on.
.
Bar-Sto will be updating the their website to include the new calibers offered.
and one will be able to purchase online..@ CZF Discount if he still affords us
this substantial favor.

Plans for the 40B precision barrels in .357 SIG are still under way. Seems like
1911s take precedence, but that's the way at most American companies.
