CZ-75 Compact, broken trigger spring, common?
« on: August 06, 2015, 07:22:43 PM »
I was highly impressed with the quality, and shootability of my 75 compact.  Even to this day I've never had any problems with failure to feed, failure to eject, failure to go into batter, or anything like that.  However... unluckily around my 400 round mark, my trigger spring broke.  Granted, CZ was able to fix this right away for me, which was good, and I ended up just replacing it with the cajun gunworks light trigger spring.  But i want to know if anyone else has had problems with this specific breakage.  Or more specifically... is this a common occurence with CZ's?  Because from what I've heard these things are known for their legendary reliability, and I'd like that to be true!

My PCR TS broke @ 425 rounds just recently. CZ replaced it but I am going to replace the new CZ one w/ a CGW spring and pin I just purchased.

Despite what anyone else may say, I would not buy a CZ again w/o replacing the trigger return spring BEFORE it broke, PERIOD.

There are simply too many reports of same to pass it off to "Stuff" happens; esp for an EDC.
