I want one! My only concern would be how cumbersome it is to fold while the sling is over your shoulder

Anyone else have an interest. I might be able to do a small order here soon.  These are expensive.   Looked at my notes and about $120 plus shipping.

If we get a substantial group buy, 25+, price would lower to about $100 plus shipping but still a little pricey.

Regardless, if anyone has to have one right now, let me know and I'll see what I can negotiate...

Thanks much.

I'd be up for it for $100 - $120. I've been eying that folder for a while now.

These would be my concerns -
When folded:
1. Does the stock lock securely so that it doesn't rattle or tend to flop open?
2. Is there access to the trigger?
3. Does the stock get in the way of the bolt handle, either in firing or operating it with your hand?
4. What about accessibility to safety lever & bolt release button?
Finally, are permanent modifications to the stock required?

Hinges customized to the VZ58 stock and receiver are available.  Unfortunately, they are expensive and would cost ~$100, maybe a little more.   They add about 1/2" to the length of pull (a good thing in my opinion) and also have a sling mount on them too (similar to folding stock).

I've been thinking about a offering a group buy, but when you consider $150-200 for the stock and folder together, the appeal of US options rapidly increases for most users.

My use (and I haven't installed yet), is to keep my next VZ in stock configuration rather than modernized (will probably do the magnetic Ramlite on it a red dot optic option) and want to keep the classic lines.  But a big benefit of any non-AR/platform with stock buffers is that you can fold and still fire the weapon, and for compactness sake an option I like to have (and ATF "rifles" with folding stocks are often shorter when folded than ATF "pistol" ARs with barrels that are much shorter...

I guess let me know if interested in a future group buy.  If you need it immediately, I might be able to source a few but it'll be probably the end of the month before I can get it from int'l to me and then to you.  Thanks.

Are these hinges still available?

Thank goodness I dont have a 3rd VZ. I would probably be about 200+$ shorter. That looks very sharp.
