IDPA Legal Less Curved Trigger
« on: June 02, 2015, 08:14:24 AM »
I've read several posts on this and looked online at CGW and CZC and I'm still confused by the choices offered.

I don't like the stock trigger on my SP-01 T because it is too curved.
I just want a more comfortable (less curved) trigger.
I want it to be IDPA legal.
(No whining intended)

What to order?

You could try the original 85 combat trigger

Or, you could order a 97 trigger. It's curved even less that the 85 trigger. I have gone one additional step and straightened and reshaped 97 triggers for my two 75Bs.

Since it is a OEM part from a legal pistol, 85 Combat, the trigger with overtravel screw is legal.

If you do this the gun is illegal for SSP and USPSA production.   You cannot change the external appearance of the gun while in battery.   You can swap triggers from different approved CZ pistols and stay legal but you cannot straightened or reshape the trigger.

Will the 97 trigger work in de-cocker (SP01 and PCR) models?

Thanks
