Extended - June Scope Rimfire Match

So for June, let's get back to basics.

Same Target but shot 2 times

1st Target
100 Yard
Bench
Front rest only (Bag, Bi-pod, 2x4, etc...)
10 Shots
Standard scoring

2nd Target - Same Target

100 Yards
Bench
10 Shots
No Front or Rear support - Elbows only

Print Target on 8-1/2 x 11

I guess this is the unpopular match this month...
I shot twice, the first I scored 180 2x (no pics). The second I scored 184 2x. There is maybe 1 extra x in there and maybe 1-2 extra points if someone is generous, but I don't count the paper tear, only the lead circle if the line is broken if you understand what I mean. All shot with a 455 American, 22lr, V16 set at 16 power.

Front rest. 95 1x


Elbows only. 89 1x

Elbows at 100yds is definitely tricky. On another note, I learned that I shoot pretty consistently without bags. I had a sighter with bags to verify my zero at 100 and it looked pretty much the same as these two.

I finally got to shoot this 100 yd target.  Had a 'shoot and see' for the grandkids on the only target I had left .  Even using a front bag rest I have trouble keeping the 6X crosshair's still.  My scope shooting is a work in progress!

Shooting with my kids and grandkids....that is a fine time.
