Problem Here with the SP-01

I was swapping out my grips and noticed things were not lining up correctly... Since im no gunsmith i need to double check that my problem is this pin that is sticking out. I have banged on it a few times to see if it will go back down, but no luck.... So before I break something I better check this is the problem... Grip wont fit on correctly, just one side.

Line it up with the other side before you start banging away again. It should tap right back in.

That pin retains the upper end of of the mag brake. Some guns have them slightly staked others have them free floating and they will slip out during while the grips are off. Looks like your gun is one of the "others".

There should be another hole on the other side of that pin. Once lined up, it should knock back in with a tap or two.

Just be sure the "other end of the pin" is lined up with the hole on the other side of the grip.

When tapping, keep your finger on the other side to cover the hole. You dont want the pin to fly out from there right through the hole..
