Could use a little help

     On my P-09 I have been going crazy trying to get the short leg of the spring that's on the safety lever in place. Pushing down like crazy & can't seem to fine a place for it to catch on to. The decocker lever has a notch on it for the leg. The safety lever dosen't.
     Where am I going wrong?

The safety lever does not use the decocker spring. Re read the instructions for swapping.

     I saw Joe l's videos & he installed the decocker.

     I read the manual. Didn't find it very clear.
