I made my own extended safety for my TS!
« on: August 26, 2015, 05:49:23 PM »
Since cz custom keeps giving me the run around with when they will get an extended safety in stock as well as base pads, I said hell with it. So I made my own safety and just put 300 rounds thru it and it works flawlessly. I had a match go south real fast cause of my stock safety last week so I took a die grinder and cut off my old safety and had a baddie weld a new safety on. It's higher than the stock safety so I can get a higher grip and still has a gas peddle like stop for my right thumb. I'm going to try and post a pic but if it doesn't work and you want to see it I'll email you the pic.

If you're looking to make a quick impression in this forum, you certainly are barking up the right tree - and not in a good way.  You're double triple posting the same rant.

You must care a bit. You posted 3 times. Funny thing, people would have been interested in your new safety.
Now, probably not. Why don't you go troll somewhere else?

Nikdanja: Moderated Status 7 days for failing to heed good advice and use of profanity. If/when you return, you'd better change your behavior or the next time out will be permanent. I'm mighty tired of noobs and their trollish posts.

Nikdanja,

I can understand the frustration. however some things are just out of your control.
I know Nikdanja is passionate about the safety as he has posted several times and emailed a few too.

My choice would be to have as many of these parts as possible as no one is happy when you dont. So I dont see the win there.
I think many people would be interested in his solution.

Good news, is they should be coming soon. ( I know, heard that before) but I am optimistic for those waiting.

Stuart when you have received them in the past has it been like 10 of them or maybe like 50. I'm really wanting one of those extended safeties.  I've thought about taking the route mentioned above but I don't know anyone that welds.
