PCR vs P09 Trigger pull
« on: March 11, 2016, 02:16:44 PM »
I've got about 450 rounds through my PCR and I still find the trigger pull absolutely horrific. I love the feel and the accuracy but I just cannot get over the extremely heavy trigger pull. I contemplated sending it in to CGW but the thought of dropping another $300+ right now doesn't sit well with me.

My question is how is the stock trigger on the P09 compared to the stock trigger on the PCR? I'm contemplating selling or trading my PCR since my RAMI is my daily carry. BTW, the trigger on my RAMI is miles better than my PCR.

Thanks

My P09 has 8# DA, 3.5-4# SA. To me it also has a shorter trigger reach than the metal CZs.

You can drastically improve that trigger with $45 to $75 worth of parts from CGW and a little polishing. Or even less than that depending on what your after. Of course, PCR's are scarce right now so it would be a quick sale.

have PCR and P07 both with CGW springs, DA reach is
shorter  on the P07, but the PCR trigger is smoother and I
am slightly more accurate with it. both guns are excellent, but the
PCR is my favorite.

If you are not happy with the PCR.  You need to sell or trade it off.

Because of my smaller hands, I did a Trigger Reduction Reach and polished the parts.    It is now smooth as melted butter and the DA feels lighter, the decocker DA feels even lighter,  and the SA is almost like a hair trigger.  I also changed the sights.

I added CGW hammers and spring kits to all my CZ's. I thought my PCR was good before but it is really smooth in DA and breaks very crisp in SA now. Do some upgrades it's really worth the effort. CAll David at CGW and tell him what you are looking for as far as performance. He's very helpful.
