Took the thing apart, did the requisite trigger bar polishing.
Knew I was going to do the SAO conversion anyway, so ordered the goodies today from CGW.
Safety version SO much simpler sear cage than decocker!

Ordered SAO trigger, Race Hammer, pins, springs, FPB lever spacer, new strut (cuz the pin on the old hammer would NOT come off).
Apparently David doesn't take a day off. Got a shipping notice already.
Thanks David.
Can't wait. I'll post pics and maybe a video if I can make one without sounding like in idjit.

Definitely looking to a how-to vid on this conversion.  Good luck.
Pretty much a CZ fanboy.

Quick trip to the range today and the 97 was a blast to shoot.
Can't see the factory sights for sh*t though. Will definitely consider fiber optics.
The CGW SA conversion was fantastic.
My 13 year old son called it "awesome ".
Going back to 9mm afterwards was like shooting a .22

  • I've shot the rest, I now own the best - CZ
I ordered some spare parts from CGW a few days ago and got them very quickly.  Fast shipping is a good thing.  That new website makes it very easy to find what you need (or just what you want).  Makes me wish some other folks would spruce up their web sites to make it easier to find parts specific to the models of guns.  The easier it is to shop, the more likely folks are to buy there.  Just sayin'......
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Ordered a straight blade trigger and stepped pin today. Gun is in pieces awaiting the new parts! It had a decent 3.5# SA pull, so im keening the factory hammer for now.
