If you can live with the caliber, find ammo or reload, you'll find it to be very easy to shoot well. At least I sure do. It's my favorite shooter because I shoot it so well without effort, making it a joy.
The Underwood Extreme Penetration rounds show great penetration and wound channel , making it a very viable self defense weapon that's easy to conceal.

If you're concerned about parts in the future, buy some spares now, one of each spring perhaps as a start. I had to tweak the slide release spring on mine but not replace it. The grips cracked near the screws, so I've bought wood grips from Thailand.
