Need recommendation for my SP-01....

I've started using my newly purchased SP-01 for home defense and thought hmm,...maybe I should put a red dot on it. 

Would appreciate any recommendations for a simple red dot/laser/light (whichever would be best). Nothing fancy. Just easy to install and activate.  Thanks.

IMHO a light is a better investment than a laser...personally I've never been a fan of lasers. I would rather be able to illuminate my threat to identify my target than have a laser. Just my opinion. There are a lot of good light choices out there.

Inforce APL, stream light TLR series and Surefire X300U which is what I use and recommend based on experience, illumination and durability of the three. But the others are good options as well.

Sorry I cannot point you in the right direction as far as lasers....IF I were to get a laser it would be in combination with a light. Such as the Surefire X400, however they aren't cheap.

For home defense.......light em up!! Day or night, a high lumen light aimed at the eyes will stop (disorient) them long enough for you to identify the threat and then take action. Might save you a bullet....and lawyers fees.
and get the highest output.
