Does the P07 Feel Top-Heavy?

I really like this pistol, but it feels a little top-heavy with all the weight of the slide up top and the really light frame below.  Anyone else get this feeling?

It is top heavy, all plastic guns are.  My P-09 and G19 are both top heavy.  Now, load that thing up and they will balance out pretty well until you deplete all the ammo, then it is top heavy again.  It is a vicious cycle!!!

Different guns feel different - till you handle them awhile, then they feel normal.

I have an M1 Garand with a scout scope mount and scope out on the barrel, in a synthetic (all weather who cares if it gets scratched up) stock and it felt funny as hell when I first put it all together.  After carrying it and shooting it for awhile it feels perfectly normal and I don't notice it anymore.

I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

I have yet to handle a mid to full size plastic gun that doesn't feel that way especially when empty. You can even get that sensation from larger guns with aluminum frames.

Put a light on the end and it gets worse.  It's the nature of polymer pistols, but they still shoot great.  David

Yes, when unloaded and no mag inserted, it does feel top heavy.  Fully loaded and shooting, it feels great. 

Give it a chance.  They are great shooters.

Try a polymer Taurus .45.  Feels like the Titanic sitting on some matchsticks. (Sold mine right quick for a Shield and later a P-07.

Unloaded and with no mag, my P-07 will not lay flat, it actually rolls to point the magwell slightly upward. It is top heavy. It did feel a bit odd at first, but fully loaded and shooting I cant say I really feel it, I have too many other things Im thinking about. Im sure "in the moment" you wont notice as much. But just hanging out and tinkering/dry firing its noticeable.

The only ones that aren't top heavy are the ones with heavy frames.  Most of my handguns feel top heavy, except my SP01 and 1911s, until I put a full mag in.

To me it feels only mildly top heavy. But overall I absolutely love the feel of the P07. The one polymer gun that felt extremely top heavy to me was the M&P Shield.
