Second time out.
« on: February 17, 2016, 04:06:13 PM »
Well. Here's my second time out with my P07. Totally focused on tighter groups. And was able to actually self diagnose what I was doing wrong. Shooting left mostly, I adjusted my grip. And it got better. Just got to figure out how to fix shooting higher than I'm aiming.

Glad you had a good day shooting.
Are you liking the P 07?

If you haven't already practice dry firing and see if your sights are moving as you pull the trigger.
Have a buddy add some snapcaps in with your live rounds next time you're at the range and you'll see right away if you're anticipating recoil or jerking the trigger.

Nice work, way better than I ever did in my second or tenth time. I asked the guys around here for some tips and they had some great pointers. I've really liked the Steve Anderson podcast and his book is on the way. Brian Enos' book is also a must have, especially for focus and awareness on watching the Front Sight. And of course the Lanny Basham book.  If I had done these things and gone to a class in the beginning I would of saved myself years of "self instructions"  and "YouTube University" time. Anyways, great work for your second time out! Keep on!
