+10 When is the Compact Shadow coming?
+10 When is the Shadow 2 coming?

Are they going to make a single stack 9mm?

How about a run of semi-compacts?

Ask him what was changed in the P-09 to make them so much more accurate than the average pistol.  Is it the lock up design with longer dwell time or tightening up all the tolerances due to modern tooling or what?

Yes, this exactly.  I'd like to see them target some dates for those big releases.  It seems like they let the forums piece together info from official sources...just trying to lean up that process.

I'm sorry to say I didn't get to chat with the CZ-USA rep for long (busy day at the shop) and unfortunately many of your questions will have to go unanswered for now. I will say he was a stand-up guy and another solid reminder for why I shoot, carry, and support CZ.

They had a few existing CZ models and Dan Wesson firearms out on the table and got to feel around a suppressed (Dead Air) SP-01 Tactical in the new color and a Dan Wesson Discretion (9mm and .45). That discretion looks even badder in person and feels awesome. They also had a P-01, 75B Omega and a Scorpion (sig brace). The SP-01 makes an excellent suppressor host if you were wondering. I was hoping they'd have a Bren carbine to test out but no dice.

If you're curious how the omega trigger feels in a steel gun compared to the standard trigger system (I was) I noticed a few things:
1. Double action pull is shorter in the omega and the hammer doesn't cam as far back
2. Single action reset feels slightly longer than on a standard model but not excessively so
3. Trigger break feels comparable to the trigger break on a standard decocker model

Looks like the next CZ shipment should be hitting the docks in about a month or so if you're not already excited, you can probably start. I know I'll be on the look out for the P01 Omega and maybe a suppressor-ready P01 or P07. I'd love to see the stainless New Edition too!

Sounds like there is no current plan to bring back the semi-compact, so for now you'll just have to build your own.

I'll update if I think of anything else!

Local gun shop is supposed to have a CZ/DW rep for their annual open house and manufacturer shoot next week. I'm hoping they will have some DWs to actually shoot (last time they had DWs, you couldn't take them to the range and shoot them).
I don't look like my avatar!

1. Why do i spend so much time thinking about CZs?

2. Is this curable or will i be this way for the rest of my life?

I'm in the same boat. My safe seems to breed more cz's

#3 Will CZ-USA help cover the therapy costs?

Sorry, had to remove the list of firearms due to server overload. I hope you now have a more pleasant experience on this forum.

And I didn't see the 1911 mentioned in the 2016 catalog.
Was it always intended as a "one year" only model?
