The NIL Master series offer some very nice enhancements to the factory 75 rubber grips adored by so many.
A bit $spendy$... but could turn a nice shooter into something so much more.
Same grips are avail for 75, 85 and 97... http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=74712.0

I don't buy grips to match a tactical style or offset the finish on a gun, it's all about function first for me.
This is great advice right here.
A certain grip may look cool but if it's not comfortable to shoot then what's the point.
If guns are outlawed.........

I have fairly small hands and I love the checkered thin aluminum grips from CZC.

I have the thick checkered CZC grips and I love them too. I thought that the thick ones wouldn't let me reach teh trigger, but I have found no problem with them. The gun feels better with the slightly thicker grips too. I wouldn't mind shooting two SP-01's, one with thick, one thin, back to back to see which ones felt better and which ones had the better split times.
snakeye, no worries, I don't need someone in a leotard. :)

Has anyone tried the Double Alpha aluminum grips in competition?

Curious how they feel and whether you used thick or thin.

I've been shooting with VZ grips on my shadow.  But I just changed to the stock rubber grips a few weeks ago and really like them better.  The "palm swell" on the rubber grips really feels good.

Well you can bling it up a little if you like the aluminum thin feel:

Functional, aesthetic, and much lighter than stock (not that it matters since IDPA changed the weight limit).

I have the double alpha grips. I like them more than the czc and cgw thin grips just because they provide more traction.

Not my pic, but it's what we went with: Hogue wraparound rubber. Takes a little stretch and back and forth to get it right, but man I'm spoiled now.
We're using the SP-01 for HD and range work, no matches, etc.
