What Goes Around...
« on: May 18, 2016, 05:39:43 PM »
...Finally Comes Around.

A little over two years ago, I bought a CZ83, chambered in .32 Auto.  It was produced in 2012, and the LGS had a real good price on this pistol.  The guy who sold it to the LGS nagged me for five months to sell it back to him, and in a moment of weakness, I did.   :-[   :-[

This morning, at the same LGS, the pistol was back in the shop, but at the manager's desk.  Without another thought I made him a reasonable offer, he accepted, and I took it home.  In the interim the LGS had gotten in two new CZ .32 Auto mags.  He made me a deal, and I took them, too.

Took it to the range, and re-acquainted myself with it.  What a sweet shooter!

As I left the shop, I told the manager, the other guy better get used to not owning it, FOREVER!   8)   8)

Best, Dennis

Great story!  I understand. Years ago (in the 90s) I got a CZ83 when they first came out and loved it.  I even wanted to carry it as a Detective duty weapon on the SO, but they said .38 Spcl was the minimum (go figure, a 2" .38 more powerful than a .380????). Well I sold it down the road, and regretted it immediately. I finally got a CZ82 in 9x18 a few years later.  I had that until a year or two ago, when my brother in law talked me out of it (I got a Browning P35 High power in trade). One of the "Panics" was going on and all ammo (especially 9x18 Mak) was impossible to find. I did have several thousand rounds of 9mm, though, so it seemed like a good idea at the time.  Once again, I regretted it immediately, and finally got another 2015 production CZ83 this year.  As I type, I am wearing it as my EDC weapon, sitting in my Real Estate office.
