trying to remove the factory rear sight on P-01

is there a set screw in there.  I can't seem to get these loose  Even with my sight pusher.

Trying to think back, I think mine may have been staked just a little. If so, you may have to give it a whack to pop it loose then use your pusher.

You might consider cutting the slide in half with a dremel and cutting wheel. I did that on a SA XDM 45acp sight. worked great.

Assume you meant "sight" not slide!!

Just JB Weld it back together and the slide will be fine.
