  • I've shot the rest, I now own the best - CZ
Ran across this while looking for one of the new Omega P01's.  Never heard of it (not that I'm an experienced CZ guy) and thought someone here might be interested.  The CZ website doesn't list that SKU number.  I tried doing a search on the web site and it came up empty.  Picture looks like someone at the factory put a 75 D Compact slide on a P01 frame??  If the darn thing had a safety instead of the decocker I'd already have it on order.

I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

I have one and it's basically a P01 with a different roll mark and no NSN number.

The one in the op's ad is the normal configuration for the pistol sold as the CZ 75 D Compact in the home market which is marketed as the P-01 in the US with P-01 on the slide. The European slides bear "D Compact/9x19". Slides marked for one market do show up in the other market.

With the introduction of the Convertible Omega, the slides in Europe now bear P-01 with the Omega symbol and are marketed as P-01 Omega. Confusing enough? If you look at the CZUB website now, the CZ 75 D Compact shown on it is now what we know in the US as the PCR. Time for a Pilsner. Na zdrav?.

From the 2016 print catalog prior to the change on the CZUB website.
