Carbine vs Pistol bolt?

With the carbine having a longer barrel, doesn't it require bolt to stay closed longer until the bullet escapes and pressures drop? I'm just curious to those who have both, is the bolts the same size/weight in the carbine versus pistol?

I don't know this to be a fact, but they may have some kind of formula worked up where they know a certain weighed bold will work within a certain range of barrel lengths.  I suspect also, that silencers and compensators would also be a factor to consider.
