New to the P09/P07
« on: July 18, 2016, 07:59:36 AM »
Last week, I bought a Cajunized P09 in .40 off of a friend and instantly fell in love.  So much so, that I bought his Cajunized 9mm P07 off of him yesterday too.  Since they first came out, I've avoided them because I just did not like the looks and also because I love a good steel gun.  My 75s all are fantastic shooters and until recently, I considered the 75B compact to be the ultimate carry 9mm pistol.  The gun to knock the 75B compact off of the top spot is the P01, but it does not beat it by much.

Now, I have the P07 competing for that spot too.  As much as I like the new P07, I think it will come in a close third though.  But, I really regret not jumping on the P07/P09 bandwagon when they first came out.  I'm amazed at how soft of a shooter the P09 is in .40.

Maybe it's just the new gun high, but I'm really liking these pistols right now.

I have a GEN2 P-07 FDE and just ordered a P-07 Urban Grey.  I love my P-07 and that's saying a lot since my prior handguns were all pretty high end guns.  I used to have 15-20 different pistols but just don't shoot handguns anymore (I've gravitated to rifles) so these 2 CZs are my carry and home defense pistols.

Congratulations on your Cajunized CZs.....I'm tempted to Cajunize some but probably will just leave mine stock.

I just picked up my P-07  Gen 2 from the LGs today absolutely love the feel of it. the SA trigger is great right out of the box for me ,but the DA will take a little getting used to. I used to own an Springfield XD mod.2 subcompact 9mm and really liked it but , I love this one much more. Can't wait to get a few hundred rounds down the pipe.

Congratulations! I purchased a P-07 a couple months ago and I like it more than I would have ever guessed I would. It must be the combination of the size, weight, balance, and a great SA trigger that make it so appealing. A 2+ magazine extension is what made it really work for me. I would have never guessed that a pistol with a 3.8 inch barrel could ever be so accurate at 50 yds.

Nice. Glad you are digging them. I am slowly warming up to the P-series, still prefer the steel frames though.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)
