I am not as confident in my repair abilities.  Mine is in great condition as it looks to have been re-done already.  It looks pretty much new, except for the fact it does not work correctly.

Update: I just finished cleaning and reassembling my CZ82 from Aim. I had to order a sear spring from CZ USA to replace the one NOT installed in mine. The sear now makes an audible click when I pull the hammer back for single action. The reassembly is not that difficult if you watch a couple of YouTube videos and follow along as you reassemble the pieces. There is a definite trick to the sear spring so watch a couple of videos to get it down. All in all I am thrilled to finally get my own CZ82.

Well an update on my situation.  I know it has been a while.  I sent it back to AIM for a full refund.  It took a while but I was able to get all my money back.  Also, as of yesterday I received my new to me CZ 82 from the batch that J&G was selling last week.  This one looks to be good so far.  I will see once I can get to the range with it.  Happy I finally found one.

I bought one of the 83's recently but paid $450.....Love it.

Me, too. Brand new, Calif ver with the 2 ten round mags. I thought I over paid, until I shot it. My son shot it. My neighbor shot it. Now, they both want one. They ain't gettin' mine. It will replace my LC380 for EDC. I think I'll get night sights for it.
