Well, enough is enough. I ordered my Kadet conversion kit today along with an extra mag. Just had to try it for my cz85. My 85b is an older gun imported by Magnum Research. Is there any possible problems there?
I have CCI minimag, Remington high vel, Winchester super-X, and Winchester Target ammo set aside for testing.
Hopefully it will be in by Friday and I can take it out for a field trial by Sunday.

Congratulations! It is a fun gun to shoot.

I am finally into a routine where I get to the range for an hour a week to shoot my Kadet. I get to  practice presentation, sight picture, trigger control, checking six, tactical and emergency reloads in an economical manner. If it wasn't an indoor range, I could practice movement and different shooting positions too.

Getting the Kadet is the first step. The more important step is using it once you have it.

Well it came in alot later than I thought it would. It came by mail instead of ups.
I thought the kit would come in with one mag but it came with two.
It went right on to my cz85 with no problems but I will not get to range test it until next week due to schedule.

As the old saying goes, "Better late than never." I think they are suppose to come with two mags. Some dealers take one out to lower the price.

Glad to hear it went on the 85 with no problems.

Look forward to your range report next week! Anticipation is part of the fun and experience. 8)

My dealer contacted my Friday to say he had my kadet and was forwarding it to me. Should be in Monday's mail. Two mags $275 including shipping and handling. I'm looking forward to the next range session.

I was finally able to get out to the range for a brief testing of the kadet.
!st off, my apologies for doubting Mr. Sherrill when I had read some of his posts advising that he had ditched his ruger MKII because his kadet was more accurate.
This kadet IS awsome in the accuracy dept. I do believe that it is more accurate than any std ruger or std browning buckmark that I have tried.
My time was limited, but this first outing consisted of 100 rounds of cci mini-mag. The results were:

            "0" mal-functions
sights fairly well regulated with no radical adjustment

I did not have time to try to determine an accuracy standard or test other rounds. Most shooting was conducted at 15 yards with the vast majority of 10  shots making one not very ragged hole(no stringing) with 2 called flyers.
As time permits, I will try to get a 25 yard accuracy test from the bench.
