Decocker here. Why? Mainly because I have several C&R guns with them. In a way, I wish the CZ decocker was more like the Walther one - it serves as BOTH a decocker AND a safety. But that's a nit - if CZ didn't offer a decocker model, I wouldn't complain or miss it. I know how to decock without one.

While a case can be made for both as evidenced in this thread already, my preference was the safety model as I carry all pistols in my carry rotation "cocked and locked".  Good luck with your decision.

I am in the camp that thinks manual safeties are redundant on DA/SA pistols.  In this case, being "redundant" does not make it wrong, so it boils down to what you feel comfortable w/ and knowing that you should train for one way or the other.

All of my pistols so far are decocker models for the sake of consistency.
