I finally got to the range with my Kadet!
I had some outside incentive in the way of friends coming over to visit for a couple days. Mentioned that I normally go shooting that night and asked if they would like to shoot. The 15yr old girl said yes immediately along with the 8yr old boy and the mother. Because of time constraints, we ended up going the next afternoon.
I spent about 15 minutes going over safe gun handling rules, gun manipulation, and having them handle and dryfire the 75B. Then I switched in the Kadet and we went to shooting. In less than an hour, we shot about 100 rds. I only allowed one at a time on the line so I could coach and watch them closely. My 8yr old daughter also came along to shoot.
They did great, handling the gun very safely as the indoor range was full and keeping all but a few shots on target. The only downside was the shooter with hot and loud loads in the next stall. Caused the mother to jump several times.

They asked me to shoot so, I shot three rounds. I wanted them to shoot and was very happy to teach and reinforce safe gun handling and basic marksmanship. It was the first time the 15yr old girl and 8yr old boy shot a gun besides a BB gun. All three kids enjoyed it. My daughter hit me up again to buy her a Kel-Tec P32.

Life is good! Thank you, Lord!
