PO1 Recoil Spring
« on: October 02, 2016, 02:49:54 PM »
I just got a stainless guide rod and thinking if I should have ordered a recoil spring to replace the original one.  Anyone here knows how many lbs is the original one?  Has anyone changed their recoil spring and if so, did you also replace your firing pin spring?  How many lbs spring?  From Wolff?  I shoot only factory  ammo for reference.  Thanks

Wolf says 19lbs is oem hammer and 14lbs is oem recoil for p01.

I'm just reporting what I read.  I'm not a definitive source

I ordered spare recoil springs from CZ-USA. They show the same spring for the P-01, PCR and 75B Compact etc.
I tried the Wolf springs in my PCR and they did not hold up.

What problem did you have with the Wolf Spring?

The wolf took a set like springs will do but after only 500 rnds it was collapsed and weak. Half the length of a new one.

I see.....I actually called Wolf and asked what weight they recommend and was told that he doesn't have one specifically for the PO1.  So I guess I'll get a 14# from either CZC or CGW.  Thanks

Honestly now. This information is not that difficult to find out.
