Huh, I took another look at a 10mm Witness that I was watching on GB, and yeah, that one has the exposed lug.  Funny what you miss when you don't know what to look for.

I purchased a SS Witness 40S&W  on GB last week that I couldn't find proof marks on any of the pictures. I couldn't pass on the price $355. I picked it up yesterday and looking it over I found them on the grip base in back of the magazine. BI code, it shows little wear for its age. I'm impressed with my first Tanfoglio. Probably more in the future.
