Back to a CZ
« on: September 03, 2016, 10:29:49 PM »
Well I'm back in the CZ world. I got rid of my SP01 to fund my AR build and it's done now. So I was looking for something a bit smaller than my FNS40 to carry in the summer months. Put some money on a P07 with Tru glo TFX pro sights. Only thing that sucks is I have to wait till my Conceal carry application clears in another month before I can pick it up. Gotta love NC.

I was bouncing back and forth between 9 and 40. Wanted 40 cause of my FN being one and keeping it uniform is easy. But ultimately decided on 9mm cause of how nice CZ 9mm pistols are to shoot.

Welcome back! I'm sure you're really going to like your P-07. I'm very happy with mine.

Hold the phone! I am a resident of North Carolina and unless you live in one of the weird counties, you can go to the local sheriffs office and apply for a pistol purchase permit as I did (I have 3 left and they are good for 4 more years). My son and his wife are still waiting on their CCW renewal from April of this year! So, it takes, in my opinion, way longer than a month to even get a CCW the first time or a renewal from what I have seen. And like most veterans if you have been stuck with a PTSD stigma (I am a Nam vet, I was a Navy corpsman assigned to Marine units my whole 4 years) you can expect a year wait for even an answer of approval or disapproval.

Welcome back!! Did you have to get someone to fit the TFX Pro sights for you? I didn't know they make it for the P-07

Yeah when I got home I applied for a purchase permit online. Previous experience says they take about 3 weeks for Catawba county. Way better than waiting two more months.

Apparently they do fit but don't fit as flush as they should. I decided just to get the trijicon ones from Cajun gun works. Have the same ones basically on my FN and really like them.

I'm back boys and girls. Picked up my CC permit and my P07 today. Love it! However it'll be getting some CGW love sooner or later.

Alright guys. So I finally got it to the range today and put a box through it. It's accurate. I had to get used to the DA/SA again cause I'm used to striker fire on my FN but I'm impressed. I'm gonna get the Dawson night sights from CGW.

First 5 out of the gun at 21 feet. As you can see I was pushing left but was consistent haha.

And here's some other random pics I took.
